The Concierge Medial Business & Young Entrepreneurs Awards 2022 – An Update

It’s been 4 months since the winners of the 2021 awards were announced, and since then we have been working hard to make the 2022 awards even bigger and better than ever.
….and we thought you would like to see how things are shaping up, so here is an update on this year’s awards.
Categories and Sponsors.
Our headline sponsor is Concierge Medical again this year, and in addition to them being the overarching sponsor they will also be sponsoring a brand-new award – the Concierge Medical Pride of the Cotswolds Award.
Selected from the individual category winners, this award will be presented to the company or organisation that the judges believe are the ‘best of the best’ and are deserving of the title – Pride of the Cotswolds.
In addition to the Pride of the Cotswolds award there will be a total of eleven award categories, and these are;
The Campden Business Forum Consumer Business and Retailer of the Year. This award has been expanded this year to specifically recognise the retail community that plays such an important role in the local economy.
The Weston Industrial Estate B2B and Professional Services Company of the Year award. Like the above award, this one has also been expanded – in this case to recognise the increasing number of professional service businesses that have located themselves in Chipping Campden and the surrounding area.
The Cotswold House Hotel & Spa Excellence in Service Award. As in previous years, this award celebrates consistent excellent service.
The Chipping Campden School Community Award. This award seeks out companies or organisations within the area whose service enriches the local community.
The Cluer HR Team of the Year Award. The team award is an opportunity for employers to recognise groups of employees who have gone above and beyond for their customers and the company during the previous year.
The itecopeople Environment and Sustainability Award. Now more than ever we need to be aware of our impact on the environment, and this award showcases companies that are taking important steps to lead the field in sustainability.
The Robert Welch Ambassador Award. Within the local area there are individuals whose contribution benefits the whole community, and each year this award recognises one individual who is truly an ambassador for the town.
The Campden BRI Young Entrepreneurs Awards. Chipping Campden School continue to work in close collaboration with the Business Forum and Campden BRI to encourage tomorrow’s business stars – and this award recognises the students who have run successful enterprises over the last year.
In addition to the above categories, that have featured in previous years, we are pleased to introduce three totally new awards and equally delighted that three new sponsors have joined us and have committed themselves to supporting the growth and development of these awards.
The Jackson-Stops New Business of the Year Award. Starting a business is a major undertaking and this award is designed to encourage and support new ventures that start in the local area.
The Grenfell James Visitor and Hospitality Business of the Year Award. In the past, businesses that serve visitors have not had their own category. The hospitality industry is a vital element in the local economy and so we are delighted to now introduce a category that specifically supports and showcases the excellent businesses in this important sector.
And finally, we have introduced a category for those who take the trouble to vote for and nominate organisations and businesses.
The Mill House Best Nomination Award. Last year we opened the awards up to the local community to participate in the awards and this year we will be identifying the best nomination that has been submitted – and that entry will receive both an award and a cash prize.
Venue
For the past 6 years the awards ceremony has been held at the end of November at the Cotswold House Hotel. However, this year the venue will change, and we are thrilled to announce that the presentation of the awards will be hosted from the new Cidermill Theatre.
The Cidermill Theatre is a wonderful new facility in Chipping Campden and we are proud to be supporting it. Nevertheless, we will be sad to leave the Cotswold House Hotel, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank them for the support they have given the Campden Business Forum and the annual awards over the last six years.
What next?
There will be more news about the awards over the next couple of months. Our plan is to launch the 2022 awards in June and open them for voting at this time…. so watch this space.
