Since its inception in 2000, itecopeople has helped thousands of clients to enhance their teams and candidates to land their dream role. From our office in Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds, we provide an ethical, honest and professional service to our clients and candidates across the UK, an essential service to their company and personal development.

When itecopeople first moved to the local area in 2016, we wanted to get involved with the local community, as the wider Chipping Campden area has the right community of education, business and people that can nurture and encourage individuals and companies. Joining The Business Forum meant that we were able to be a part of this and contribute to the area. We love to give back to this community, be that by hosting our networking drinks throughout the years, supporting the local food bank or sponsoring the awards.

By business and the community supporting each other, it allows for an environment that encourages companies to create jobs and support the livelihoods of many people.

And this needs to be done in a sustainable way that is friendly to the environment. By being greener, cleaner and focusing on an environmentally sustainable way of working, the partnership or community and local businesses can ensure what has been built up will stay for years to come.

Without a sense of care, there can be no sense of community.

One of the main pillars of itecopeople is sustainability. We are passionate about the environment and make sure that we embrace new technology to use less energy and reduce our carbon footprint. It is clear that no matter how small a business is, everyone has the opportunity and responsibility to make smarter decisions regarding the environment. It may feel your responsibility is minuscule compared to the larger corporations of the world, but the sum of individual efforts can be just as impactful.

By sponsoring the Environmental and Sustainability award, we wish to recognise a local business (irrespective of its size) or indeed an individual taking the extra steps to be more sustainable. This award recognises a company or individual that understands their local impact on the environment and does something about it. This could be by changing how they do things or coming up with an innovative idea.

When it comes to the environment, we are all in it together, and by working together, we can tackle the environmental issues the world is currently facing.
