Not entirely satisfied with success in industry and always having wanted to create art professionally, I moved to the north Cotswolds some twenty years ago in order to become a full-time artist.
I suppose that comparatively my work has had quite restricted exposure having only been shown in a limited number of galleries, but I have sold steadily throughout the period.
I like to think that my now considerable reputation has been built on a powerful body of work which is unfettered by the influence of any of the recognised schools or artistic philosophy. It has recently been observed that I do not paint pictures – but that I create visual images and I know from experience that these images have enormous impact and resonance for people who are prepared to interact with my work.
