ABOUT THE CAMPDEN BUSINESS FORUM
WE BELIEVE THAT BUSINESS IS PART OF THE COMMUNITY, NOT APART FROM THE COMMUNITY
Chipping Campden is a vibrant community of around 2,500 people, renowned for its creativity, culture and commerce,
as much as for the beauty of its surroundings.
Businesses contribute to the social wellbeing of rural communities by providing goods and services, employment and stimulation to the local economy. An active and dynamic business community plays a key role in keeping rural towns alive; those communities that have seen a decline in their local business base tend to stagnate and are much the poorer for it.
At the Campden Business Forum, our primary aim is to help create an environment where business can succeed, thereby ensuring that Chipping Campden remains a thriving market town and a desirable place to work, rest and play.
Quite simply we believe that healthy businesses mean a healthy town, and that business is not apart from the wider community, but is part of the wider community.
So how does the CBF help create an environment where business can prosper?
by tackling issues on behalf of our members that would be difficult to address individually,
by actively participating in the business community,
by communicating useful information to members and;
by being a driver of change and improvement when necessary.
The approach we take to helping the business community is collected together under our Five Pillars of support. Collectively these pillars will make a contribution to maintaining and building a positive business environment.
